New revelations

So now I have shamelessly self-promoted myself, lets get on topic! I have noticed a new thing about myself recently - I'm now into reality TV, specifically Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Was not into it before, thought it was very stupid to be honest. But now I'm obsessed. So that's where we are now.

I've gone through most of my life looking down on reality shows and the people in them, because they seemed to have no talent and were just there to be famous. But I think the Kardashians are different, like they actually use business techniques and use their platform to speak out on important topics. So I guess I do have a level of respect for them. Which is weird to me at this point, but oh well.

Why is reality TV so popular though? Mostly because it's extremely overdramatic and you can detach yourself. I guess also because it is a distraction from our own lives (even though it is 'reality' TV it isn't very realistic at all!). For some people it probably makes them feel better about their lives, in a pompous, snooty way.

I guess I'll never understand my new fascination with the lives of the Kardashians. It's just a braindead way to pass the time!
